Plants: Vernacular/Common names - Scientific/ Binomial Names

Under construction

I am compiling a  lexicon of plant names one list will give the Vernacular/Common Names and their Scientific/Binomial Equivalent while the other will show the Scientific/Binomial names and their Vernacular/Common equivalents. At the moment for the Scientific/Binomial Names I am including the vernacular/common names equivalents in English as well as other languages when I have been able to find them. However, at the moment I am only going to use the English versions for the Vernacular/Common names to Scientific/Binomial name lexicon. This is mainly due to logistical issues: the amount of work involved as well as how to do it. I am considering creating a separate Vernacular/Common names to Scientific/Binomial name lexicon for each language which might be simpler and easier for me to develop as well as for people to refer to. Until then ... I apologise for the Anglo-centric version dominating.
I am also compiling a Glossary of Botanical and Horticultural terms as well as links to references where appropriate. If you have any ideas of what should be included or any questions, please leave a message. It may take some time for me to respond but I will respond.
Thank you
